I provide ethical and effective clinical social work service grounded in my profession’s core values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence.
I practice individual, family and marital therapy with an emphasis on helping people learn to manage anxiety, mood, attention and relationship issues. My practice has a balance of established clients seen on a bi-weekly basis and clients who return periodically for updates and to work on previously developed treatment plans. My approach allows clients to access and leave services on an as needed basis. Unless a current client experiences a crisis I do not typically see clients on a weekly basis. I continue to accept new clients, but may be limited on after school or evening appointment times. With flexibility from the client I am often able to make a scheduling need work.
I work with all people across the life spectrum. My practice is centered on the belief that all people, no matter their age or circumstances, have within themselves a great capacity to change or improve and manage personal, professional or learning challenges.
With each client I will create a comprehensive plan that reflects their identified need for change, including assessments, individual and or family therapy, referrals to doctors, other mental health providers, educators or an attorney. You may ask me to collaborate or consult with other treatment providers, employers or school professionals, and I am pleased to do so when appropriate, and with valid consent from the client, or a person legally authorized to consent on behalf of the client to the disclosure of confidential information.
